Savour! Was Featured On The Straits Times

For some of us, disposing uneaten food is a daily unavoidable habit. We are completely mindless about the ‘little’ food waste (or so we perceive it). However, a little can add up to a lot! In fact, the amount of food waste generated in Singapore has increased by about 40% over the last 10 years. In 2017, the amount of food waste generated was equivalent to the weight of more than 54,000 double-decker buses.

‘Live more. Waste less’ ismade up of a series of articles by The Sunday Times, in partnership with DBS Bank. In this third instalment of a six-part series on food waste, under portraits of purpose, Katrina, the CEO of Savour! was given the opportunity to share about how she and her team came to start Savour!.
